I first discovered a BASTOS tshirt a few years ago when my cousin visited my office, with BASTOS emblazoned on his chest. Immediately, I thought 'Cool!' - never seen that before on a tshirt and haven't seen it at the stores. He told me he bought it in a Uni campus. For non-Filipinos, it looks like a cool brand name, but for those in the know, then it's a great conversation starter! And also pretty much gives you free reign to be rude, impolite and as crass as you wish - just point at your chest and all is forgiven. It's your own personal disclaimer!
